Some people may already be aware of this, but we are pleased to announce that the Charity that we will be supporting this Conference is the Kea Education and Community Coaching Trust. Its objectives are to promote the benefits of coaching and coach-like behaviour in schools, and to foster coach-like behaviour in school management and teachers.The charity also supports not for profit organisations. Coachmecca has decided on this charity because we want to fully support a charity directly related to coaching, our coaches and the beneficiaries of coaching.

The 2008 Coaching Retreat has been awarded CCE Approved Provider status by the ICF. This means that by attending various presentations at the conference, you'll receive Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEU's), which contribute towards credentialing status.

More specifically, all attendees of the '2008 Coachmecca Coaching Retreat' will be granted Continuing Coaching Education Units in the following categories: 1.5 hours - ICF Core Competencies; 3 hours - Personal development of the Coach. This is based on the keynote sessions, 'Replenishing the Coach', Facilitated live coaching, and the ACC, PCC or MCC open space sessions.

All other CCEU's will be based on the certificates of attendance for individual sessions. A total of 14.25 hours of CCEU's are possible for any individual attendee.
